Fall Home Tour: Part 2

So, if you follow me on Instragram (which you totally should!) you might have seen that I’m already starting to decorate for Christmas.  What can I say, I love it!!!  So does Alex and I can’t say no to his sweet little face about “building our Christmas tree”. 🙂  Plus, I had to show you all my newest holiday signs in the shop!  ((merry & BRIGHT :: peace & joy))

Peace and Joy

But, my front porch still looks like fall, so lets talk about that!  Hooray for crisp air and falling leaves and pumpkins!  And a few simple fall touches to the front porch.

Simple Fall Front Porch

I managed to scrape together a few little things for the front porch this year without breaking the bank.  I mentioned in the first part of my fall home tour that I took the boys to a little farm market in town and picked up some cornstalks and pumpkins!  Alex was super excited about it…

I really have to give credit to Alex for the decorating, but I added a few touches of my own like this pumpkin sign that was on my mantle last year.  To hang it, I used two upholstery tacks nailed to the front that I tied some twine around.

Next, I dug out an apple crate that John brought me home a while ago because, apple crates and fall.  I just flipped it upside down and popped a mum on top of it with a few cutie-a-tootie little pumpkins as Alex will call them.

There are a few more pumpkins on the (newly painted) porch in front of the crate.  I propped up my whooo’s there? sign in front for a little added Halloween spook 🙂

And we can’t forget the cornstalks!  They really bring it all together.

I didn’t do too much this year, but I love the simple touches!  They brought just enough fall spirit into the front of our house and they will keep people fooled about the fact that our Christmas tree is up and we are blasting “Jingle Bells” for a little bit longer! 🙂

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day 🙂
