Happy Monday!
Lately, I’ve been taking the time to learn the art of hand lettering and also dabbling in printables. (If you follow me on Instagram, you already know this. If you don’t, go follow me!) And when you are practicing writing, that means that you look up a lot of quotes to practice with! I have so many quotes that I absolutely adore. Such as this one from Pride and Prejudice. All. the. heart. eyes. for Mr. Darcy. Anybody else? I could seriously watch that movie every day. And I did. In college.
It’s so fun and totally relaxing (hand lettering, that is. Not watching Pride and Prejudice daily). I’m finding it is a great way to unwind after the boys go to bed. You should try it!
But, anyways! I’ve also been testing my hand at combining my watercolors with printables. The latest thing I did was create three different watercolors by hand, scan them into my computer and turn them into backgrounds! They turned out so much cuter than I ever imagined and I’m so glad I learned this skill. You can definitely teach and old dog, new tricks 😉
