30 Day Challenge- Abs & Squats

You know that point that you reach after having a baby?  That one where the weight seemed to be falling off and then all of a sudden it’s not anymore?  But, you’re all like “hey, I still have 15 pounds to lose” and your body is all like “yeah, I’m totally done with that weight loss stuff”.  Plus, you’re nursing and there is that fine line between losing weight and losing your milk supply because you aren’t eating enough/working out too much.  It’s totally awkward.

Time to try something new.  Well, time to actually try.

So, we’re (Oh yeah, I dragged John into this)  jumping on the bandwagon of this “30 Day Challenge” trend that’s happening and hoping it won’t diminish the milk supply.  Because, well, Christian really needs it.  Saw the challenge on GMA, so everybody must be doing it, amiright?  At least everybody is doing the first week, then who knows? I know I need accountability which is why I’m telling all of you lovely people and asking you to join me, if you want.  No pressure though, because after typing up the (adorable, I might add) calendar, I’m a little terrified.

I’m doing this because I really need to work on my abs (hello. two kids) and my tookus/leg area.  I am really looking to get stronger in general and to improve my running.  I really hate strength training but, I’m feeling so unfit right now, so I need to start seeing some results to get me going.  Enter: 30 day ab and squat challenge.  I mashed them all up into a single calendar to make it easy for me (and for you!).  And by easier, I mean easier to read/follow along with/stick your gold stars on.  Not easier to complete the exercises.  If only, right?

30 Day Challenge

I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel, I didn’t make this up, I just prettified it (that’s a thing).  Here is where I got the squat challenge and here is where I got the ab challenge.

So, print it out, put it on your fridge/bulletin board/chalkboard, get some gold star stickers (because they are totally necessary) and do it.

Let me know in the comments (or Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) if you decide to join in.  It’ll be totally fun.  We can all be lookin’ so fly in our bikinis this summer.  Or Speedos.   Whatever you decide to rock is cool with me.
